Resource Preparation Guide
Everything you need to gather before starting your venture building journey. Get organized, stay focused, and set yourself up for success from day one.
Materials & Documentation
Before diving into venture building concepts, you'll want to have certain materials ready. Think of this as setting up your workspace—both digital and physical—so you can focus entirely on learning when the program begins in August 2025.
- Reliable computer with stable internet connection (minimum 8GB RAM recommended)
- Dedicated notebook or digital note-taking app for concepts and frameworks
- Access to spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar)
- Quiet workspace where you can concentrate for 2-3 hour sessions
- Basic understanding of business terminology (we'll provide a glossary)
Your 30-Day Setup Timeline
We recommend starting your preparation about a month before the program begins. Here's a practical timeline to help you get everything ready without rushing.
Week 1: Technical Setup
Get your technical foundation in place. This includes setting up your workspace and ensuring all software is working properly.
Set up your computer environment, test your internet connection for video calls, and create accounts for any recommended platforms. Also, organize your physical workspace to minimize distractions during learning sessions.
Week 2-3: Knowledge Foundation
Start familiarizing yourself with basic business and venture concepts. No need to become an expert—just get comfortable with the language.
Review our recommended reading list (we'll send this after enrollment). Spend 30-45 minutes daily getting familiar with terms like market validation, value proposition, and business model canvas. Take notes on concepts that interest you most.
Week 4: Final Preparations
Handle the practical details and set your learning schedule. This is about creating structure, not cramming information.
Block out time in your calendar for program sessions, gather any personal documents you might need for exercises, and prepare a list of business ideas or industries that interest you. We'll use these for practical applications during the program.
Questions About Getting Started?
Don't worry about having everything perfect before you begin. The preparation phase is meant to make your learning experience smoother, not to overwhelm you. If you're unsure about any requirements or need help with setup, our team is here to help.
